Read the Bible in a Year – Day 47
Today’s text comes from Numbers, chapters 11, 12 and 13. Once again the Israelites complain about food and lament saying “if only we had meat to eat.” The Lord heard thier cries and treated them like spoiled children, and provide some much quail they grew tired of it. From thier Miriam and Aaron crumble about Moses so the Lord rebukes them. We finish today’s text with Moses gathering the first group of scouts to go and inspect the promised land.
