Read the Bible in a Year – Day 40
Howdy – We have reached Day 40 of the challenge, there are couple numbers that keep repeating in the bile and 40 is one of them, so what interesting topics will we read today. Today’s text comes from Leviticus, chapters 24 and 25. Th text covers the requirements for burning the golden lampstands in the Tent of Meeting, The text also includes a story of the a blasphemer that is put to death. During this story the Lord mentions the “Eye for an Eye, Tooth for Tooth” system of justice for the second time.
