Today is the the 35th day of our challenge, how is everyone doing? Today’s text is from Leviticus, and includes chapters 11 – 13. The text describes the difference between clean and unclean animals, the purification regulations following childbirth and the regulations regarding Skin Diseases and defiling molds. Things to Ponder – Day 35
The Book of Leviticus includes many instructions regarding healthy eating. Some of those were described in today’s text. While Peter proclaimed that we no longer need to follow the clean/unclean meat rules because of a vision he had in Acts 10, many people see the healthy benefits of a Leviticus diet. A quick Google search will reveal several diet plans based on the Lord’s instructions to the Israelites. Just like the dietary laws, while we are no longer bound to the laws of Leviticus because of the sacrifice of Christ, God knows best!
